WELCOME to SpeedShot.org
SpeedShot is a tool for ultra-fast handling of screenshot images. The idea is to specialize for maximum working speed. SpeedShot takes an image from the system clip board, and when the user is done can return the edited image to the clip board, save it to a file or post it to a webserver (with web server configuration).
SpeedShot is launched from a web page, or a desktop icon, and should be compatible with all modern browsers.
SpeedShot is pure Java, and runs anywhere you can run Java. However, on some platforms Java's integration with the system clipbord may give rise to issues.
SpeedShot is distributed via Java Network Loading Protocol, which is also known as Java WebStart. Launching the application via the web has been tested in the folloiwng browsers:
While I hope that SpeedShot is intuitive, documentation is always important. Our project page has a User Guide
SpeedShot is provided with Apache License 2.0, so you can enjoy it at no cost. The source code is available on the project page
Currently this is a one man project. My name is Gus Heck, feel free to check one of my other websites. If you have any questions you can contact me via the form on the contact page.
